Class Schedule

Gentle Stretching

  • Precursor to the more traditional Hatha class
  • Gentle stretching exercises

Beginner 1

  • Covers basics of breathing and asana (postures)
  • Foundation for progression in asana practice
  • Focuses on relieving physical & mental tension

Beginner 2

  • Introduces more postures and variations
  • More emphasis on working with the breath in postures
  • Understanding the breath/mind/body relationship

Intermediate 1&2

  • Recommended after taking Beginner 2 Classes
  • Introduces intermediate level postures
  • Increase strength and endurance

Advanced 1&2

  • Explores more advanced poses and approaches to the practice of the poses
  • Increased awareness of the  breadth and depth of Hatha and ashtanga yoga

Introduction to Meditation

  • 6 hour Weekend Workshop
  • Basic concepts and instruction to start your journey with the profound practice of meditation

Yoga & Meditation

*Prerequisite--Beginner 1 and Intro. To Meditation

  • Includes asana (postures, breathing, relaxation, and meditation
  • Yoga philosophy also included

Continuing Meditation

*Prerequisite—Beginning 2 and Meditation

  • This is a four-week class
  • An even deeper understanding of the psychology and philosophy of the profound practice of meditation; focusing on improving the depth of your individual practice

Scripture Study

  • Our study group meets the first Friday of each month, and is a support group for meditation practitioners
  • We are presently studying the Bhagavad Gita, a major text of Vedanta philosophy
  • Our remaining meeting date for the year is:                  December 1st

Unlimited attendance for all classes! You may attend any/all classes at your level and any level below it during a six week session.

  • Cost is $85 per six weeks
  • Beginner 2 level and above can drop-in $15 per class
  • 6 and 12-week passes available for non-beginners $87 & $174
